It is possible that your mother has your social security number if she needed it for legal or financial reasons, such as when you were a minor and she was applying for government benefits or opening a bank account for you. However, it is important to keep your social security number confidential to prevent identity theft, so it is best to ask your mother directly if she has it and to ensure that it is being kept secure. If you have concerns about the security of your social security number, you may want to consider monitoring your credit report for any suspicious activity. **
